Battalion Pentecostal Assembly Church, Inc.

First Lady Julia Cockfield and I are overjoyed to have you with us today! We want to welcome you to the family of Battalion Pentecostal Assembly, Inc. I am sure you have discovered that our passion and mandate here at BPA is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God.PastorDavidnwife

At BPA, our doors are open wide to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a bible-believing, life-giving, multicultural church. Our goal is to infuse God’s love into all people by engaging them in spirit filled worship services, that offer biblical knowledge and to rightly divide the truth of God’s word in a relevant and practical ways.

A closer look will prove that you are surrounded by people just like you – people that are filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses.  The common thread being that we all are committed to growing stronger and wiser through it all. Together we are working to become like the church we believe Jesus wants us to be.

Being involved in an active church is pleasing to God. One of the reasons we need to be part of a church is so that we can have accountability one to another. The Bible says that we must “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together” (Hebrews 10:25), and that the threefold cord is not easily broken” (Eccl 4:12). Fellowship is also necessary for the spiritual health of a Christian, and as you will discover as you begin your journey to become a mature child of God. It is also pleasing to Him when His children seek to understand His word. In Colossians 1, the Apostle Paul writes of his passionate desire for the body of Christ to grow in faith and become spiritually mature in order to please our Father. Both individually and collectively, we are called to nurture our commitment to God through knowing, hearing and understanding His word. God promises that those who seek to glorify and serve Him will be richly blessed.

Please know that you are never alone. God’s blessings and grace now belong to you, a gift from your Father, and the collective strengths of your brothers and sisters in Christ are yours to call on in your time of need. My prayer is for you to keep the word of God and these truths hidden in your heart and mind until the coming of Christ.
Yours in Christ,
Apostle David T. Cockfield
